My 4 year old is crazy about Power Rangers and when he saw the Power Rangers Dino Charge Morpher in a TV advert he immediately asked for one for Christmas. Sure enough, Father Christmas left one under the Christmas tree and I had a very happy little boy that morning.

Power Rangers Dino Charge Morpher

The Morpher for Dino Charge basically resembles a gun. It has a trigger that makes battle sounds and lights when pulled. Spinning the barrel section also makes lights and sounds. Pressing down the lever at the end of the Morpher, opens the Morpher for you to put in a Dino Charger.
It comes with two Dino Chargers which are little, battery sized objects which you insert into the Morpher just like the Power Rangers do on the TV programme. Different Dino Chargers make different sounds. They come with many of the Power Rangers Dino Charge toys and you can buy even more of them separately. There’s 40 to collect and the Dino Charge Morpher comes with Dino Chargers number 1 and 2. Each Dino Charger also has a QR code on one end which can be scanned with the Power Rangers Dino Charge App and, using your devices camera, can morph your image into a Power Ranger. My son thinks it’s quite funny to see himself on the screen with a Power Rangers helmet on!

Dino Charge is the latest version of Power Rangers to hit the screens and these toys are a must for any Power Rangers fan. My 4 year old son is no exception and he was so excited to receive a Power Rangers Dino Charge Deluxe Sabre.

I’m being very careful to use it’s full name as there are two versions of this toy. There is the Power Rangers Dino Charge Sabre which smaller and doesn’t light up. My son has the Power Rangers Dino Charge Deluxe Sabre.

That little word “deluxe” makes a huge difference to this toy for not much difference in price. I’ve not seen it in the flesh but, from comparing pictures and video reviews, the standard version is so tiny it looks silly and looks more like a dagger than a sword. I found I could get the deluxe sabre for about £5 more and it was not only bigger and sturdier but also had a light up blade. If you’re considering getting a Power Rangers Dino Charge Morpher as well, then the deluxe version is also the sabre you need as it’ll connect to the Morpher to make a Dino Cannon.
